The Tamil Nadu Resident Doctors Association (TNRDA) has expressed concern over the sudden postponement of online counselling for Non Service Post Graduates in broad speciality that was scheduled to be held on March 11. The association urged the Directorate of Medical Education to provide prior intimation of the new counselling date and has also requested the Director of Public Health (DPH) and Preventive Medicine to immediately release an updated post vacancy list and seniority list.
In a statement issued on Monday, TNRDA said that the DPH should provide clear information on the available postings for Non Service Post Graduates and rank-wise details of eligible candidates as without these crucial details, candidates were left uncertain about their options. This led to unnecessary stress and confusion.
The association demanded that the revised counselling schedule should be announced with adequate notice and the vacancy and seniority lists should be published earlier to maintain transparency and fairness in the selection process.
