TikTok star and influencer Taylor Rousseau Grigg’s cause of death was revealed the week after her death.
Taylor aged 25 had over 1.4 million followers on the platform, reportedly died due to a severe asthma attack and complications related to Addison’s disease, as confirmed by a family representative to Today.com.
Her husband, Cameron Grigg, announced her “sudden and unexpected” death on Instagram, sharing the heartache they faced at such a young age.
He said that Taylor was the “most brave and strong woman” he knew, noting how she had endured more pain in one year than most experience in a lifetime.
Cameron revealed that Taylor was an organ donor, highlighting her wish to continue saving lives even after her passing.
“More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world,” Cameron wrote. “And even though her earthly body may have failed her, her memory and life will be carried on forever. She doesn’t owe anyone, anything. But she would want everyone to know that she’s more than ok.”
Taylor and Cameron had been together since 2021. The couple got engaged in June 2022 and married in August 2023.
Months before her death, Taylor candidly shared her struggles with undiagnosed health issues in a TikTok video. “A girl said that I just looked like the life has been drained out of me. Honestly, for a time there, that’s true, I feel like I’m fighting for life every day. When I didn’t necessarily know what was wrong with me, I’d be in bed in pain just wishing to be dead because I just wanted it to end and I don’t necessarily feel that way now.”
She expressed sorrow over her inability to perform everyday activities, saying, “I should be in my prime. I should be able to walk to the mailbox or run, and those are just things I can’t really do right now.”
Her final video was posted on September 26, showcasing her time spent with their beloved dog.
