Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched the ‘Rajiv Yuva Vikasam’ scheme on the Assembly premises on Monday, aiming to create self-employment opportunities for five lakh unemployed youth in the State. The government allocated ₹6,000 crore for the initiative, underscoring its commitment to youth empowerment and economic development.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Reddy fired back at the Opposition party leaders who claim he’s struggling to get a grip on the administration. “Is removing Ministers from the Cabinet or shuffling officers the only measure of good administration?’ he asked, emphasising that his administration has made significant progress as he is taking all the necessary corrective measures. His ultimate goal is to restore public trust in the government through transparency and accountability.

He emphasised that Rajiv Yuva Vikasam is a people-centric initiative rather than a political scheme, expressing gratitude to opposition MLAs for participating in the launch. The scheme marks a significant step forward empowering Telangana’s youth and fostering self-reliance through robust economic support.
