According to an official release from the A.P. State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA), Nathavaram in Anakapalli district recorded 42.1C, the state’s highest maximum temperature, on Sunday. While Pedanadipalli of Vizianagaram district recorded 41.8C, Gollavidipi of Kurnool recorded 41.4C, according to R. Kurmanath, Managing Director of APSDMA. He added that severe heatwave conditions were recorded in 14 mandals, while heat waves were reported in 56 mandals across the state.
