Andhra Pradesh Board of Secondary Education is all set to conduct the Secondary School Certificate (SSC-10th class) Board Examinations from Monday (March 17, 2025) in the State.
Students will write their exam in First Language (Paper-I) on Monday (March 17, 2025). A total of 6,49,884 students will appear for the Class X examination at 3,450 centres across the State. Students will be allowed to travel from their home to the exam centre and back, free of cost in Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) buses by showing their hall tickets to the bus crew.
As many as 163 exam centres have been identified as ‘problematic’ centres and CC cameras have been installed to prevent any possible malpractice at these places. The authorities have established a State-level helpline centre (0866-2974540) for those in need of assistance.
To prepare the students well for the Board Examination, the School Education Department implemented a 100-day plan, which included intensive class of daily six sessions from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. till March 10, slip tests for regular assessments to monitor student progress and alleviate exam anxiety in them, special classes for students requiring extra assistance, parent-teacher meetings to discuss and address concerns and provision of study material to students.
Students have been advised to reach their respective exam centres at least 30 minutes before the start time, avoid bringing electronic devises such as mobile phones, smart watches or calculators and refrain from any malpractice.
