The Madras High Court on Friday declined a plea from a history-sheeter from Coimbatore, on whom the City Police Commissioner had served an externment order under Section 51-A of the Madras City Police Act, 1888.
The police said R. Balakrishnan, 30, alias More Market Bala from Ganapathy in the city, who had been involved in several crimes including a murder, had approached the court, with an appeal to revoke the order.
