Nolambur Police arrested a 25-year-old youth who allegedly assaulted a food delivery executive following a quarrel.
Police said Sri Gurusamy Sabarinath, 34, a native of Tiruvannamalai district was working with a private firm besides doing a part-time work of food delivery. On Sunday night, he carried the food ordered by a customer Jagathish to Venugopal Street, Mogappair East. However, the customer misdirected him here and there for a long time and then asked him to the come to address given earlier.
While delivering the food, Sabarinath questioned the customer and a quarrel ensued. Jagadish’s friend Prabhu abused the delivery executive and assaulted him besides issuing threats. Sabarinath sustained injury and was treated in a hospital. Based on his complaint, police arrested the suspect M.Prabhu, 25 of Mogappair West.
