Eight persons belonging to the northern States were arrested by the Saibaba Colony police for allegedly hiring impersonators to write the exam conducted by the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education- Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (ICFRE) for the post of multi-tasking staffs (MTS) and technical assistants (TA).
The arrested persons are: Rishi Kumar (26) and Narendra Kumar (24) of Agra in Uttar Pradesh, Bipan Kumar (26) from Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh, Prashant Kumar (26) from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, Lokesh Meena (24) and Ashok Kumar Meena (26) from Alwar in Rajasthan; Shubham (26) from Panipat in Haryana, and Rajan Kumar Gond, (21) from Siwan in Bihar state.
In his complaint, C Kunhikannan, director of ICFRE, said the institute conducted its examination for recruiting candidates on February 8 and 9. The farce enacted by the candidates was determined during certificate verification. They were arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
