DRM inspects Koraput-Kottavalasa line

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Lalit Bohra conducted an inspection between the Koraput-Kottavalasa line on Sunday. The inspection focused on enhancing safety, upgrading amenities, and reviewing the progress of ongoing developmental activities, including the double-line works. Senior officials from various branches of Waltair Division accompanied him during the inspection.

The DRM inspected railway establishments at the Koraput railway station and reviewed the developmental activities being taken up at the station. He also inspected facilities at various stations in the section and yard at Shivalingapuram, and also reviewed developmental activities at these stations.

During his inspection, Mr. Lalit Bohra interacted with the staff to assess their skills and knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the safety gadgets and various aspects involved in the safety protocol. He inspected tunnels, major curves and doubling works under construction in the section. He conducted window trailing inspection of the section to check track, curves, bridges, points and crossing, according to a statement issued by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K. Sandeep.
