Donald Trump held his final rally for this election cycle in Georgia on Sunday at the Atrium Health amphitheater in Macon. Early voting figures indicated that supporters from the central part of the state could play a crucial role in the upcoming election, Trump arrived an hour and a half late, sporting a black-and-gold “Make America Great Again” cap.
Sticking to familiar themes, Trump declared his intention to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, a law historically used to intern Japanese, Italian, and German Americans during World War II, and vowed to pursue the death penalty for undocumented immigrants who kill Americans.
“The United States is now an occupied country,” he said, claiming, “There are thousands of people all over our towns and cities.”

During the rally, Trump also criticised retired military generals former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, former Chief of Staff John Kelly, and former Defense Secretary James Mattis from his administration, referring to them as “stupid.” These retired generals have been vocal critics of Trump, with Kelly recently calling him “fascist to the core.”
Trump assured his supporters, “With your vote on Tuesday, I will end inflation, I will stop the invasion of criminals coming into our country. We’re at the five-yard line, maybe even the one-yard line…”
He repeated his famous line, “This is really all you need to know: Kamala broke it, and I’ll fix it.”
Throughout the event, speakers referenced President Joe Biden’s recent comment about Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden, where Kill Tony called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”
Biden faced criticism after seemingly labelling Trump supporters as “garbage,” a claim he later denied.
Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones remarked, “I can tell you right now, if this is what they consider garbage, then I’ll take this trash all day long.”
Representative Andrew Clyde added, “There’s an old saying: one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
