Several people are feared to be injured after an express train, Rain No. 12578 Mysuru-Darbhanga Express, rammed into a stationary train at Kavarapettai near Chennai in Tamil Nadu on October 11, 2024. A fire broke out after the collision, police said.
At least two coaches derailed in the accident, Tamil Nadu Police said. Rescue teams and ambulances are on the way to the spot, they added.
