Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump was denied a new bank account in the weeks following the Capitol Riots in 2021, his mother Melania wrote in her memoir without mentioning the riot. She wrote that Barron could not open the account at a bank that she wanted in the weeks following the Trumps leaving the White House in early 2021. “I was shocked and dismayed to learn that my long-time bank decided to terminate my account and deny my son the opportunity to open a new one,” Melania wrote.
“This decision appeared to be rooted in political discrimination, raising serious concerns about civil rights violations,” Melania wrote without naming the bank.
She went on to write elaborately on the “venom of cancel culture” instead that his family experience after the January 6 Capitol riots. “The ‘cancel mob’ now includes corporations, traditional media, influential social media figures, and cultural institutions,” Melania wrote. “This disheartening trend reflects the current socio-political landscape in the United States.”
“The cancellation continues — an attitude by businesses both big and small that never ceases to surprise me,” she added.
“It is ironic that my business acumen is criticized, while other former government officials receive praise for similar endeavors, such as security multimillion-dollar media deals. This disparity can only be explained by biases related to my last name and political affiliation.”
18-year-old Barron Trump garners a lot of attention and now that he has started attending New York University, there’s a lot of curiosity around Barron. Melania revealed on Fox News that Barron was doing well, thriving and he is enjoying to be in New York City again. Barron does not stay on the campus as it is very near to the Trump residence in New York.
In her book, Melania also revealed how Barron was bullied when he was just 10 years old after a post on X claimed that he was autistic.
