MANILA: The Philippines’ Taal Volcano near the capital region has erupted, the country’s seismology agency said on Wednesday.
It said the lowest alert level was still in place on the restive volcano, of which some previous eruptions have impacted the capital and air travel. It did not immediately give details on the eruption.
