TDP trying to influence YSRCP corporators, alleges Kannababu

Amid speculations of the NDA corporators planning to move a no-confidence motion in the Greater Visakhaptnam Municipal Council (GVMC), the corporators belonging to the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) led by party’s Uttarandhra region coordinator K. Kannababu conducted a meeting on Tuesday.

Accusing the NDA corporators of hatching a conspiracy, Mr. Kannababu alleged that the TDP was trying to influence some YSRCP corporators to rope them into their side. “Some YSRCP corporators alleged threatening. The TDP has always been involved in such politics,” said Mr. Kannababu.

The YSRCP corporators, during the meeting, said that they would not leave the party come what may. The YSRCP corporators have a deep gratitude towards party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and we will never succumb to the pressure by the TDP,” he said.
