Children’s Literary festival to be held on March 20, 21 in Krishnankoil

Children’s Literary Festival – 2025 would be held on March 20 and 21 at Linga Global School in Krishnankoil.

The two-day event, organised by Virudhunagar district administgration, would see over 300 students, teachers and parents from Class 4 to 7 from Government schools, aided schools and private schools participating.

In a statement, Virudhunagar Collector, V.P. Jeyaseelan, said that story-telling, puppetry, psychological training, screening of children’s movies, magic show would be held on the occasion.

Besides, group discussion on various topics would be held to create awareness among parents and children.

Reading sessions to inculcate reading habit among children, cheerful classroom session, teaching literature to students would also be held during the event.

Joint Director, Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation, Sankara Saravanan would conduct the quiz programme for the children.

Writer and story-teller, Bava Chelladurai would address the children at the inaugural session and Madurai MP, Su. Venkatesan, would address the valedictory session.

Children and their parents from Virudhunagar district can participate in the event.
