Unauthorised compound wall blocking way for two colonies in Bandalguda Jagir pulled down

Forces from the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) have pulled down a compound wall built on a road connecting two colonies of Kismatpura in Bandlaguda Jagir Municipality, and ensuring that a cement road is laid by the evening, on Monday (March 17, 2025).

The wall separated Fortune West Meadows, and Sri Harshitha layouts, blocking the way for the surrounding colonies, a statement informed. The wall was built under the pretext of protecting the layouts. Upon complaints, the municipal authorities pulled down the wall six months ago. However, it was rebuilt by the Sri Harshitha Layout owners, the statement said. In coordination with the municipal authorities, the road was re-laid soon after demolition of the wall, on the same day.
