Quiz contest
An inter college quiz contest, MCICQC, was conducted by The Madura College on February 27. Principal in charge J. Rajendran presided over the proceedings. S. Venkatesh, Associate Professor of English, was the Quiz Master. Over 80 teams, comprising three students each, vied for the title. Questions were based on six topics including Know Your Madurai, General Science, Books and Authors and Sports. Lady Doak College bagged the first place and the second place by Thiagarajar College. More than 300 students and staff participated.
Graduation Day
SBOA School (CBSE), Madurai, celebrated its 12th Kindergarten Graduation Day on March 15. The annual report was presented by T. Vincenta Tamilarasi, Kindergarten Superintendent. The convocation address was delivered by Dr. V. Bhuvaneshwari, an alumna of 2004 batch. L. Latha Thiraviam, Principal, SBOA School (CBSE); M. Porkodi, HM and K. Hepzibha Salomi Rani, AHM, were present.
