The Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL), on Wednesday (March 12, 2025), invited bids for appointment of Project Management Consultancy for construction supervision of the green field radial road named Ratan Tata Road between Outer Ring Road at Raviryal and Region Ring Road at Amangal for a length of 41.5 kilometres.

This is the first step towards establishment of ‘Future City’ or ‘Fourth City’ being proposed by the government, near the Regional Ring Road.

The request for proposal document mentioned 30 months as the contract period, during which the consultant needs to monitor the project on a daily basis, supervise the construction and quality control. The radial road, with 300 feet width, is the longest among the nine radial roads proposed to be developed by the government for connectivity between ORR and RRR.

Being developed in two phases, the road will be laid up to proposed Skill Development University in the Future City, as proposed by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

During the first phase, the road will be developed for 18 km up to Mirkhanpet village of Kandukur mandal, officials had informed.

Road route

The road will pass via Kongarakhurd village in Maheshwaram mandal, Lemur, Thimmapur, Rachuloor, Gummadavelly, Panjaguda, Meerkhanpet and Mucherla in Kandukur mandal, Kadtal and Mudwin in Kadtal mandal, Amangal and Akuthotapally in Amangal mandal, Kurmidda in Yacharam mandal and Ferozguda and Kongarakalan villages in Ibrahimpatnam mandal.
