7-year-old boy dies after falling from apartment in Kerala’s Kozhikode

A seven-year-old boy died in Kozhikode, Kerala, on Tuesday after he fell down from the seventh storey of the building he was living in.

Ivan Haibal, son of Muhammed Hajish and Ayisha, was found dead on the ground of the apartment near Pantheerankavu.

He is suspected to have slipped from the balcony while playing. The security guard took him to the nearest hospital immediately, but the child could not be saved.

Ivan was a Class 2 student of a school at Thondayad.

The Pantheerankavu police have started an investigation into the incident.
