As many as 15 passengers sustained injuries when a Super Fast KSRTC bus from Idukki to Koombara overturned at Manassery near Mukkom in Kozhikode district, Kerala, on Sunday night. The accident took place around 11.30 p.m.
Police sources said the bus overturned when the driver attempted to overtake a car. There was suspected speed limit violation in the accident prone area, they said.
No passengers sustained grave injuries. Most of them were admitted to a private medical college hospital at Mukkom.
There were about 20 passengers in the inter-district bus.
