14 fishermen from Pamban arrested by Sri Lankan Navy; 1 boat seized

A day after fishermen called off their indefinite protest in Rameswaram, 14 fishermen who went into sea were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy on Thursday night.

Sources said, as 87 boats from Pamban went into the sea for fishing on Thursday, 14 fishermen, sailing in fishing boat, were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy at around 8 p.m.
